How our costs work
Welcome Packs
We like to offer a warm welcome to our guests.
Our welcome packs are tailored based on the season and length of stay.
For stays of more than three nights, Dwell will provide a complimentary bottle of local wine and a bowl of fresh fruit.
For shorter stays of less than three nights, wine and fruit can be provided as a pass-through cost to the owner upon request.
For longer stays or premium luxury properties, Dwell may enhance the welcome package with additional items, determined at discretion and in consultation with the owner, with any associated costs being passed through to the owner.
Linen Service Fee
Linen services are provided for all properties managed by Dwell.
A linen fee of R250 per bedroom per check-in will be applied and deducted from the property's income.
For long-term guests requiring linen changes every three days, this service will incur an additional charge each time the linen is refreshed, which will also be managed and billed by Dwell.
Cleaning Fees
We ensure that your property is cleaned after each booking, and prepared for the next.
Your property's cleaning fee is included within the rental's rate and charged to the guest.
We have partnered with Marvellous Maids to service our cleaning needs to ensure that your property is always in tip top condition.
Essential Supplies
We ensure that essential start-of-rental supplies are provided for each guest's stay.
This includes items such as:
Bathroom Essentials
* Shampoo & conditioner
* Soap & lotion
* Ambient room spray
* Bath foam
* Toilet paper
Kitchen Essentials
* Paper towels
* Trash bags
* Dishwasher soap
* Dish soap
* Sponges
* Salt & pepper
* Cooking oil
* Tea & coffee + sugar
* Long-life milk
These supplies are part of our service and are covered by Dwell at no additional cost to the property owner.
Owner pass through costs
Certain additional supplies and maintenance items may incur pass-through costs, which are the responsibility of the property owner.
These items include Nespresso coffee pods, starter laundry detergent, firewood, fire starters, light bulbs, utilities, and other maintenance-related costs.
If these costs are applicable, they will be charged to the owner accordingly.
